Loungewear, quality lingerie, and cute PJs are things that used to be at the bottom of my purchasing priority list. I always preferred spending my money on things that everyone could see, like an amazing pair of shoes or health/beauty investments like Pure Barre classes and high quality face creams.
Greetings from the Sunshine State! Stephen and I drove down on Thursday and are having a wonderful time! Adam and Andrea’s wedding was Saturday; it was stunning and a ton of fun! I met some of the coolest people, and they had hands-down the best wedding cake I’ve tasted. It was a tower of little gourmet eclair puffs covered in rich crystallized caramel and flowers.
If you ask me, every girl needs a pair of Dr. Martens in her closet! Docs have been given a rebellious, nerdy, or even unfashionable rep at times (think The Princess Diaries!) but that has really changed– not that I particularly mind the first two of those three stereotypes anyway! They are a staple in most models’ wardrobes; in fact, one of the VS Angels once even named them one of her closet essentials.
Just a little outfit post we snapped before a night at the movies! I practically lived in casual all-black outfits this entire past year. Now that I’m back in the South I’m tempted to play with some more bright colors and playful patterns again, but I still have at least ten of these black shirts and five of these tanks in my closet.
Happy (way belated!) Easter from the Trevathans!!! We had the most amazing Easter Sunday– our first as a married couple! I’m still learning my way around WordPress and Lightroom, and it’s definitely a process. A fun and satisfying process though! So that’s why these beginning posts are trickling in sporadically instead of being more “real time.”
As I mentioned in this post, my husband and I were in St. Petersburg a few weeks ago. We went to the Grand Prix during our trip, and I wanted to wear something fun, summery and Florida-esque!
