As I mentioned in this post, my husband and I were in St. Petersburg a few weeks ago. We went to the Grand Prix during our trip, and I wanted to wear something fun, summery and Florida-esque!
Luckily this cute ASOS crop top had arrived a mere day or two before we left. (It was on major sale, so unfortunately it’s not online anymore.) To complete the updated vintage vibe, I paired it with my high waisted vintage Calvin Klein shorts. They are an ’80s item from Dechoes Vintage!
If you live near Orlando or are planning on visiting, you seriously need to go to Dechoes. I randomly stumbled on the one in College Park (there are 3 locations) a couple years ago when I was tagging along on one of Stephen’s a business trips, and I still consider it one of the best–maybe even the best!–vintage store I’ve ever encountered. When I left after 3 hours of shopping, I could barely carry all my bags out of there!
I rounded out the look with my quirky new shoes, a fun yet simple pair of stud earrings, and my “Faybans” from Aldo. I highly recommend their quality and selection for Clubmaster dupes, or any other sunglass dupes. Once I even got a super realistic Celine lookalike bag from Aldo. They never disappoint! I also left my engagement ring at home, which I sometimes do when I’m wearing a sportier look. My wedding ring is just a simple white gold band, but I really love it on its own too. Maybe it’s partly the novelty of it still being new! 🙂That’s all for now! I linked the things I’m wearing and some similar items below. Happy Tuesday, everyone!
