I have this theory that you can have chemistry with places in the same way you can have it with people. This chemistry was the reason why (after two trips to The University of Florida, trying really hard to like it, and knowing my grades and SATs would probably get me in) I told my mom “THIS IS IT!!! I’m home!” within 30 seconds of setting my foot on The Florida State University’s campus. I was so sure, I didn’t even apply anywhere else. Sometimes you can’t explain things. You just have to feel them.
Well, well, well… Look at me getting another post up during this supposedly *busy* week!! I guess I can’t pat myself on the back too hard, since this is basically the easiest move in the history of moves. (Stephen and I sold all our furniture when we left SF, plus my mom already took a couple boxes down.)
EXCITING NEWS FOR THE TREVATHAN FAMILY! Stephen and I are moving to St. Petersburg, Florida!!!
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced so far as a blogger, is the fact that I’m a total sale shopper. Being a sale shopper is awesome! I mean, as the great Man Repeller said the other day, looking good and owning your own home one day should not be mutually exclusive.
As I’ve gotten older and my mom’s started liking dining out more (she used to not be that big of a foodie but I think I’ve rubbed off on her 😉 ) we’ve started enjoying more and more girls’ nights out together! My mother always prioritized being a mom over being a “bestie” when I was younger, and I’m eternally grateful for that. However, now that I’m an adult and all that jazz, it’s fun to have her as a mom AND a bestie!
Good morning and happy Memorial Day weekend! This isn’t a full-on post, but I wanted to let everyone know what we were up to!
As I mentioned in this post, my husband and I were in St. Petersburg a few weeks ago. We went to the Grand Prix during our trip, and I wanted to wear something fun, summery and Florida-esque!
